Michal Kralik

I am an indie game developer and software engineer based in Brno, Czechia. This portfolio highlights my Unreal Engine game projects and cloud software engineering work in C# and .NET.

About

I split my time between game development and cloud engineering

On the game side, I work mainly in Unreal Engine with Blueprints and C++, focused on fantasy-themed gameplay that I would want to play myself. I am currently leading a small indie team on two unreleased projects. One of them is a co-op RPG project, another is co-op roguelike.

In parallel, I work as a software developer building cloud applications for industries such as automotive and concrete and aggregate manufacturing, using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and traveling.

Core strengths

  • Unreal Engine development with Blueprints and C++
  • Gameplay design, level design, and systems iteration
  • C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript in production workflows
  • Cloud and web application development for business domains
  • From prototype builds to maintainable production releases
